Happy 4th!

This year, for the 4th of July, my family came up to visit (well most of them at least). My dad, mom, Blake, Emeli, Lesli, and three of her friends (they were all going to EFY the next week). So here we all are waiting for the big parade to start. It was my first time at the parade, and I couldn't believe how many thousands of people were there so early in the morning! It's crazy! I enjoyed the experience and am excited to do it again, but with Cameron there to enjoy it with us.

Then after lunch at Quiznos, and naptime, we decided to head down to the Freedom Festival. The kids (and I mean Tyler) really really wanted to get their faces painted. So Jill got a butterfly...
And Tyler went patriotic...

He loved it! It was the cutest thing. And I was actually surprised he wanted to do this cause it's not really his thing.

Anyways... that night, my AMAZING brother sacrificed his ticket to Stadium of Fire so that I could go! He offered to babysit my kids so I could have a night out! What 14 year old boy does that? My brother. (And it was probably the only time it will ever happen so I had to take advantage!) So here it is, the Stadium of Fire at BYU stadium. It really was amazing to go to. SHeDaisy and the Jonas Brothers performed. And even though I really didn't know the words to Jonas Brothers music, it was still crazy fun. The fireworks were fantastic. Just having a break from my needy kids was probably one of the biggest reasons I had such a great time. (So thank you thank you thank you Blake! I love you!)And we even got to hang out with this guy (Cameron's bro Colin- who works at the stadium) during the fireworks! Guess if I can't have Cameron, I'll take the next closest thing instead!
