Three weeks left!

Well another week has gone by, which means we only have 3 left here in Provo! If you can't tell, I'm pretty excited. Nothing big really happened this week, except for the yard sale we had yesterday. It was a success! We sold everything we wanted to, well- all the big things anyways. On all of our signs we posted we said "8am", and I was shocked that by 8:15 we probably had 20 people there! We were still bringing out all of our stuff. Needless to say, we were amatures at the whole thing.
I must say that I love general conference weekend. It's always hard to listen to all the talks with the kids screaming and wanting things, but I must say that my favorite talk was in the last session. I actually had dozed off (shame on me), but woke up right at the very beginning of Elder Ballard's talk. Tears instantly began to form as he said he wanted to talk to the young mothers. It was exactly what I needed! It's so nice to be recognized and told how important our roles as mothers are. I am so grateful for my mother and know that a lot of who I am today is because of her role in my life. I try everyday to be as good to my kids as she was to me. Sometimes it's pretty hard, as I'm sure it is for all mothers. But I know with the Lord in my life, I can hope to raise my kids as good as I was raised. So thanks Mom, for being so awesome. I hope you know how much your kids love you, and that all the hard work you put in, and are still putting in, pays off. Here's a few pics of mom and me.
I'm glad to be starting another week! I always look forward to Mondays, weird huh? But I feel I can start fresh and look forward to the things I have to do. I love my job as a mom- so it's not so bad going back to work Mondays, even though I never get to leave work. Oh well. Until next week...
